In a statement today (2 Dec 2021), FTSE Russell and Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) today announced that there will be one change to the constituents of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, following the semi-annual review of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Series. The index series is reviewed semi-annually in accordance with the index ground rules.

- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCIThe FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI reserve list, comprising the five highest-ranking non-constituents of the index by market capitalisation, will be Inari Amertron, QL Resources, Malaysia Airports, Malaysian Pacific Industries, and ViTrox. 😑
The reserve list will be used if one or more constituents are deleted from the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI in accordance with the index ground rules during the period up to the next semi-annual review. - FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index
- FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Shariah Index
All constituent changes take effect at the start of business on Monday, 20 December 2021. The next review will take place in June 2022.

AMENDMENT TO FTSE BURSA MALAYSIA KLCI DECEMBER 2021
SEMI-ANNUAL REVIEW

Consistent with the index methodology, these changes were announced two weeks prior to their implementation, with them becoming effective on Monday, 20 December. Subsequent to the review announcement, additional information was identified that indicated that it was necessary to make a correction to previously announced review results.
Consequently and in conjunction with the policy outlined in the FTSE Russell Recalculation Policy and Guidelines and FTSE Russell Statement of Principles, an amendment notice was published via the usual communication channels on Monday, 6 December 2021, informing the market of the updated review results whereby Westports Holdings will no longer be an addition to FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index and will no longer be a deletion from FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index.
Westports Holdings (Malaysia, BDFM1K8) will be an addition to FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Reserve List. Inari Amertron will be an addition to FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index and will be a deletion from FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index. Inari Amertron (Malaysia, B54JP79) will no longer be an addition to FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Reserve List.
