Another E-Wallet going to Impose a Credit Card Reload Fee ~ Boost App

After BigPay and Touch'nGo e-wallet, now there is another popular e-wallet provider that is going to impose a credit card reload fee ~ Boost App.

In an email to all Boost App users (naming them as Boosties), citing that the latest move is needed to balance the long-term sustainability to ensure an #unstoppable journey. 👀💭

How much? When is the starting date?

The following changes to the Boost app will take effect on 15 March 2024:

1) Introduction of 1% Convenience Fee 💢💢💢

Note: Fee Waiver Limit is up to RM1,000 monthly

2) Premium Wallet Upgraded to RM10,000 Wallet Limit

Note: The Basic Wallet Limit is RM1,000 only.
You have to verify and upgrade to Premium 10K Wallet to enjoy a higher limit of RM10,000.

More details about the Premium 10K Wallet:

• Wallet Limit is RM10,000
• Monthly Transaction Limit is RM9,999
• This Premium 10K Wallet has a Cash-In feature, which allows you to add electronic money into your Premium 10K Wallet, subject to the Wallet Limit and the Monthly Transaction Limit.
• However, there will be a 1% convenience fee incurred for adding electronic money into your Premium 10K Wallet using credit card after exceeding the Convenience Fee Waived Limit for Premium 10K Wallet.

3) Uplifting the monthly Credit Card Limit 💳

~ The monthly RM2,000 credit card limit shall be removed. You may add money to your Boost Wallet via credit card up to your Wallet Limit, as shown below:

• Basic Wallet limit = RM1,000
• Premium Wallet limit = RM10,000
