What is ADAM50 actually ???
It stands for 'Amanah Dana Anak Malaysia 2050' which was introduced by the government with the co-operation with Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), for all Malaysian baby born in the period of 1 Jan 2018 until 31 Dec 2022. The objective is to encourage parents to kick-start the saving/investment habit since born, with the help of some free incentive units as the initial investment amount.

'Foreign insurers have until the end of June 2018 to reduce their holdings in local firms to 70% at most, one person said. The country’s central bank has been weighing tougher enforcement of a cap on foreign ownership as it seeks to boost local participation in the industry, people familiar with the matter said in April.'

Not Worth to Invest using our EPF money ???


Recently, there is an article by Chinese newspaper saying that more than half of the unit trust funds cannot beat EPF dividend rate. This has created a lot of doubts in the mind of EPF MIS investors. Is it true?


Since 1997, the scheme was rolled out by EPF with the approval from the government to let members have the choice to determine their retirement funds investment. Having said so, there is some restriction on the investment withdrawal and subjected to review periodically. The approved funds under EPF MIS has to be reviewed yearly by EPF team based on certain criteria to be met, such as funds' return performances and its' consistency.

Car Insurance is NOT the same starting July 2017... Good or Bad ???

From July 1 onwards, the premium rates for motor comprehensive insurance will be liberalized where premium pricing will be determined by respective insurers and takaful operators. In summary, it's based on flexible pricing mechanism.


The aim of the liberalization was to gradually move the tariff towards pricing that was more equitable to take into account broader risk factors and reduce cross-subsidisation across business classes and risk groups.

DBKL Special Discount for Traffic Offenders... (4 Days Left Only!!!)

Once again, DBKL is giving a very special discounted rate for traffic offenders to settle their compounds. Again? Haha... Good things should come every year? Anyway, the offer period is until 28th Feb 2017.



For all unpaid traffic compounds from 2007 till 2011, the charge is only RM10 per compound, while those accrued from 2012 till 2014 is charged at RM20 per compound and those from 2015 to the present is RM30.

[PLUS Chinese New Year 50% Rebate] Why many people fed up with it?


In conjunction with the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays, operator of the North-South Expressway (NSE), PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has identified several strategies to distribute traffic and strengthen its highway operations to assist the public to enjoy a smoother journey on the mainline.




Based on previous festive seasons travelling patterns, PLUS expects traffic on the NSE will be at its peak on 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st January as well as 4th and 5th February.
