What should you know before performing BigPay cash top up at 7-Eleven?

In case you haven’t heard, you can now top up your BigPay account with cash at all 2,400 7-Eleven outlets nationwide! Yes. It's cash top up! And, it was like suddenly we have 2,400 places in the country to top up our BigPay now. How?

 

Topping up your account with cash is super simple. Just go to a 7-Eleven, open your BigPay app and follow these steps:

1. From the home screen, click on the (+) button next to your balance
2. Key in the amount you want to top up with cash
3. Select ‘Cash at 7-Eleven’ at the bottom of the top up sources
4. Review the details and tap ‘Confirm and pay’
5. Show the barcode to the cashier and pay

That’s it! Your money will be in your account within 5 minutes ⚡ Sounds good? Wait... Please read below info first...

Is there a FEE for cash top ups?

Yes, BigPay charge 2% of the top up amount + RM1.

• For top ups up to RM100, the cost is capped at RM2.
• For top ups above RM100, the cost is capped at RM5.

Example, if you top up RM100, only RM98 will be added to your BigPay account.

Is there a LIMIT for cash top ups?

You can only top up between RM20 and RM250 in one go, and not more than a total of RM2,500 per day.

Meaning, in one day, you can do a maximum of 10 x RM250. And, you have to be calculative lah. Why? Because if you do so, you have to pay RM50 fee also (10 x RM5 charge). Think carefully first oh. Otherwise, you better don't kacau the 7-Eleven guy. Hahaha...
