Good news from Setel (e-wallet payment at all Petronas stations)!!!

Good news!

As of 29th April, Setel has received approval for its own e-wallet license from Bank Negara Malaysia.

With this approval, it has enabled Setel to move away from their previous e-wallet provider, Kiplepay Sdn Bhd to Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad).

What does this mean to all Setel users?

Effective from 2nd June 2020, your Setel e-wallet account will be covered by Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd’s own e-money license. Rest assured, you will continue to utilise your e-wallet balance and enjoy the same seamless experience of Setel at over 740 PETRONAS stations nationwide.

Meantime, Setel has also upgraded your wallet limit, you can now top-up, up to RM500 !!!

Update the app to enjoy the new experience today. Check out the updated terms & conditions. If you’re heading out, remember to stay safer & minimise contact when you refuel with Setel.

Get up to
10% fuel cashback when you top up your upgraded Setel wallet with qualified credit cards issued by Ambank, CIMB, Citi, Hong Leong, RHB & UOB. T&Cs apply.
